Privacy Policy — Condition Report

Condition Report ("the app") is a privacy-first Android application for creating condition reports — move-in, move-out and turnover inspections of property, as well as furniture and moving inventories. This policy explains what data the app handles and — more importantly — what it does not.

The short version

The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no backend servers. The release version of the app does not even request the Android internet permission, so it is technically incapable of transmitting your data anywhere.

Data stored on your device

Everything you create in the app is stored only in the app's private storage on your device:

• Reports, rooms, and inspection items (including notes)
• Photos you take or pick from your gallery for a report
• Signatures drawn in the app
• Generated PDF exports
• Your Pro purchase status and free-export counter

This data never leaves your device unless you use a share function (for example sharing a PDF or a JSON backup), in which case you choose the destination app. Android's automatic cloud backup is explicitly disabled for this app, so your reports and photos are not uploaded to Google Drive.

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of this data.

Permissions

• Camera — used only to take photos you attach to inspection items.
• Google Play Billing — used only to process the optional one-time Pro purchase.

Picking an existing image from your gallery uses Android's system photo picker, which requires no media permission — the app can only ever see the images you explicitly select.

Purchases

The optional Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Google Play. The app never sees or stores your payment details. Google's handling of purchase data is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service (https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/) and Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Children

The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. It is a utility app intended for adults handling property handovers and moves.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL and the "Last updated" date will change. Since the app collects no data, changes are expected to be rare and editorial.
